Commercial Cancellation Policy

We understand that work rotas sometimes need to be rescheduled, or that ships are not always back in time, and that therefore postponing training dates or cancellation may be necessary. However, if you do have to cancel or change training dates, please do try to give us as much notice as possible enabling us to replace the booking.

Cancellations made by companies for students on courses with Red Ensign must be received in writing (email is acceptable) and should be sent to marketing@redensigntraining.com.

Notice Period for Cancellations

To avoid all cancellation charges our minimum notice period is 10 working days.  Please note that we do not work weekends.  Within 10 working days of the course our fees for cancellation will be charged at the following rates

Within 10 working days of the start date                               20% of the course fee
On the working day before the course or non-attendance       40% of the course fee 

No fee will be charged to transfer students to alternative course date (subject to minimum numbers required for certain courses).

Course Cancellation by Red Ensign

Red Ensign reserves the right to cancel a course in the event of unforeseen circumstances. This also applies to our specialist courses if we do not reach the minimum number of students required to run the course.  We will notify companies of any cancellation at least 5 working days prior to the course date by email and where possible we will make every effort to offer an alternative course date.  If an alternative date cannot be found or is unsuitable, a full refund will be given.  Red Ensign is not liable for any other costs incurred by clients in association with course bookings.
